Strategic HR Partner

We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to collaborate with fast-growing e-commerce startups in India. The role focuses on developing and implementing comprehensive HR strategies, ensuring compliance, managing talent acquisition, employee engagement, and driving best practices in a dynamic environment.

This is a part-time/consulting role, ideal for experienced HR professionals who want to leverage their expertise across multiple organizations while enabling founders to focus on scaling the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement HR policies, processes, and systems aligned with startup growth.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end recruitment strategies – from sourcing and shortlisting to onboarding.
  • Create and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Set up performance management systems including OKRs/KPIs and appraisal cycles.
  • Manage HR compliance with labor laws, ESIC, PF, and other statutory requirements.
  • Guide founders and leadership teams on organization design and talent strategy.
  • Support training and development programs to upskill employees.
  • Handle employee relations, grievance redressal, and conflict resolution.
  • Oversee payroll coordination and HRMS implementation.

Requirements:

  • MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification.
  • 7–12 years' HR experience, with strong exposure to startups or e-commerce.
  • Proven expertise in setting up HR frameworks for fast-growth organizations.
  • Hands-on experience in talent acquisition, compliance, and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
