Job Summary:

About the Role

This position involves overseeing a team responsible for valuing complex financial instruments and ensuring accurate reporting.

  • Lead XVA Valuation Control function, developing policies and procedures to ensure effective IPV, bid offer reserves, model reserves management.
  • Design and implement methodologies to optimize Prudential Valuation framework, guarantee robustness and efficiency.
  • Review monthly valuation packs for senior stakeholders and ensure junior members of the team adhere to best practices.
  • Train and develop team members, ensuring they possess necessary skills and qualifications.
  • Mentor team members through example and foster a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with experience in Financial Market Products, Accounting, Product Control, and risk management.
  • A Master's degree in a quantitative discipline or a professional qualification such as CFA, FRM. A minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Rates Valuation Control function, risk management, or trading roles at a top-tier investment bank.
