Job Title: Senior Manager- Risk Management

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 5-8 Years

Your Role

In this role, you will:

Lead the development and maintenance of a robust trigger-based reporting framework, including:

  • Tracking risk benchmark metrics at multiple levels (geography, customer type, channel, etc.).
  • Implementing a trigger mechanism for immediate action when benchmarks are breached.

Liaison with different stakeholders to:

  • Ensure that risk benchmark numbers are consistently monitored and managed.

Build early warning signals to:

  • Identify sources of portfolio stress.
  • Continually communicate these signals to stakeholders across the organization.

Collaborate with Category, Customer Experience, and Operations teams to:

  • Develop strategies for mitigating portfolio risk.
  • Create segmented treatment strategies across risk brackets.

Continually work to balance the twin objectives of:

  • Maximizing portfolio revenue.
  • Minimizing risk.

Define and update criteria for:

  • Customer upsell/cross-sell.
  • Renewals.
  • Closure.
  • Other account actions.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant; MBA is a plus.
  • 5-8 years of work experience, with a minimum of 4 years in credit risk management in a Bank/NBFC/Fintech.
  • Proven experience in managing a team of analysts.
  • High level of ownership.
  • Comfort with ambiguity; strong test and learn bias; willingness to be hands-on.
  • Ability to engage and influence people cross-functionally.
  • A well-rounded individual with strong communication skills.
