Job Role Overview

In this key role, you will develop a strategy to ensure that our first-line activities are credible and effective. This involves designing and implementing validation activities for issues, remediations, and first-line control testing.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement validation activities to ensure the quality of our control activities.
  • Maintain alignment between our team's strategy and the firmwide Enterprise Risk strategy.
  • Develop and mentor members of our Validation Center of Excellence to ensure high-quality performance.
  • Establish reporting processes to support oversight and governance.
  • Presents results to senior leadership directly and in committee meetings.
  • Analyzes root causes of failures and provides insights into strategic improvements.
  • Collaborates with the ERO team to recommend improvements to the Risk Framework.
Requirements:
  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 14 years of experience in audit, control testing, or risk management in a highly regulated industry.
  • More than 7 years of leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 16 years of experience in risk management, audit, governance, control testing, or other related disciplines.
  • More than 9 years of leadership experience.
