Mergers and Acquisitions Manager

We are seeking an experienced M&A professional to lead our corporate development initiatives.

The successful candidate will play a key role in advising clients on strategic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raising. The individual will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing transaction execution, from origination to closing, and ensuring alignment with their long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Leadership: Execute the end-to-end management of M&A transactions, including deal origination, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and closing.
  • Client Advisory: Provide strategic advice to clients on potential M&A opportunities, corporate restructuring, divestitures, and capital raising, ensuring alignment with their objectives.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses.
  • Deal Structuring: Design deal structures that meet client objectives while maximizing value. Oversee negotiations of terms, pricing, and legal documentation.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, banks, legal advisors, and other third-party advisors.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry developments to identify new opportunities for clients.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on financial analysis, client presentations, and transaction execution.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (legal, tax, and regulatory) to ensure seamless execution of transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: MBA in Finance
  • Experience: 8-12 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or private equity raises, with a strong track record of deal advisory experience.
