Job Overview

Lead a legal team to execute strategic partnerships and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement legal strategies for investment transactions, fund raises, and internal structuring.
  • Ensure timely execution of deal-bound legal documents with rigorous attention to detail.
  • Design and advise on structuring for new funds, SPVs, and cross-border vehicles, ensuring regulatory compliance and long-term scalability.
  • Liaise with external advisors and internal teams on fund registration, governance documentation, and legal architecture.
  • Provide counsel on LP frameworks, capital deployment terms, and jurisdictional considerations.
  • Implement and maintain a contract lifecycle management system to ensure visibility, consistency, and timely tracking.
  • Develop and institutionalize workflows for documentation, approval processes, version control, and deadline management.
  • Ensure that legal systems align with the company's operational approach.
  • Manage ongoing and potential disputes in collaboration with external counsel—aligning strategy with business priorities.
  • Oversee the company's IP portfolio, including filings, registrations, and enforcement actions.
  • Provide counsel for board governance, shareholder meetings, resolution tracking, and statutory compliance.
  • Build and lead a high-performing legal team across contracts, structuring, compliance, and internal advisory.
  • Drive a culture of clarity, ownership, and continuous learning within the legal function.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with external counsel across various mandates.
  • Serve as the internal bridge between operating teams and external legal advisors—ensuring direction, efficiency, and alignment.
  • Own quality control, budget optimization, and execution timelines across all outsourced legal engagements.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive legal experience across corporate law, transactions, entity structuring, and fund formation.
  • Prior exposure to venture capital, private equity, or investment banking ecosystems is desirable.
  • Exceptional command of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory nuance.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations and execute workstreams at speed and scale.
  • Proven team builder with a sharp operational mindset and high attention to detail.
  • Proficient with contract lifecycle tools and digital documentation systems.
  • Law degree from a reputable institution; additional certifications are a plus.
