About this Role

As a seasoned legal expert, you will provide strategic guidance to senior stakeholders on optimizing debt management processes.

This involves advising on legal strategies that are ethical, compliant, and scalable. You will oversee and resolve debt-related disputes and litigation, coordinating with external counsel when required.

Conducting in-depth legal research is a key part of the role, supporting litigation strategies and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Collaboration with internal business, compliance, and legal teams is essential to create practical solutions aligned with business objectives.

Additionally, building and maintaining relationships with external legal partners and regulatory bodies is crucial for smooth legal operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise senior stakeholders on legal strategies for debt management.
  • Oversee and resolve debt-related disputes and litigation.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research to support litigation and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create practical solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external legal partners and regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in litigation processes, civil procedure, and relevant laws and regulations in India.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to develop and execute effective legal strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present complex legal issues clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
