Job Title: Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Director to lead our team across residential and commercial projects.

  • Oversee and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors across multiple projects, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
  • Develop and implement accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets for residential and commercial projects, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Lead tendering processes, negotiate vendor contracts, and oversee contract management, maintaining optimal relationships.
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and ensure alignment with approved financial plans.
  • Implement cost-control measures and identify areas for savings, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with quality, legal, and contractual standards, guaranteeing excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the Quantity Surveying function to ensure financial prudence and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Evolve and optimize QS processes, systems, and best practices for scalability and growth.
  • Collaborate closely with design, procurement, project management, and finance teams to achieve cohesive outcomes.
  • Provide timely Management Information System (MIS) reports and updates to leadership, informing strategic decisions.

To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying, 10+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying, and expertise in cost estimation, contract management, and project financials. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
