System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT processes, networking principles, and storage management.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Installation, maintenance, and operation of complex system environments
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to system performance and stability
  • Understanding and adherence to IT processes, including incident, change, and problem management
  • Proficiency in managing Windows Servers, including patch management
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and practices
  • Knowledge and management of storage systems and technologies, including storage management
  • Experience in bare metal server installation, rack and stack operations, and decommissioning servers
  • Deploying, operating, decommissioning, and migrating virtual machines (V2V and P2V)
  • Managing the lifecycle of virtual machines in OpenShift and VMware
  • Willingness to work on rotational shifts, including night shifts, to provide 24/7 support
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of systems, configurations, and processes
  • Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management
  • Strong understanding of system administration, networking, and storage management
  • Proficiency in Windows Server management and patch management
  • Ability to work on rotational shifts, including night shifts
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Prometheus and Grafana
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework
  • Familiarity with VMware
