About the Role

We seek a skilled Interior Design Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a passion for designing inspiring interior spaces.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with interior designers and architects to develop preliminary design concepts and layouts
  • Translating design concepts into detailed technical drawings using CAD software
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance with building codes, regulations, and project specifications
  • Preparing material and finish specifications, schedules, and quantities as required
  • Coordinating with project managers, contractors, and vendors to implement design plans
  • Reviewing and revising drawings based on feedback from clients, consultants, and stakeholders
  • Maintaining organized project files and documentation, including revisions and updates
  • Staying informed about industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies relevant to interior design drafting

You will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
  • Proven experience working as an Interior Design Draftsman or similar role in the interior design or architecture industry
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software
  • Hands-on site work preferred, demonstrating understanding of on-the-ground operations
  • Strong knowledge of drafting techniques, standards, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing project requirements
  • Familiarity with sustainable design principles and green building practices is beneficial
