About this Role

This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Architect-Workplace Designer who can lead our team in transforming workspace environments into aesthetically pleasing and functional areas.

Main Responsibilities
  • Client Needs Analysis
  • Conduct thorough research to understand client needs, industry trends, and goals.
  • Design Development
  • Analyze workspace requirements and develop actionable plans.
  • Communication and Service
  • Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.
Design Responsibilities
  • Formulate innovative design proposals incorporating comprehensive space planning, color schemes, furniture selections, and sustainable materials.
  • Create compelling mood boards, 3D renderings, and presentations to communicate design concepts.
Space Planning and Layout
  • Develop efficient space plans accounting for workflow optimization, ergonomic principles, and cultural alignment.
  • Leverage space utilization strategies to enhance productivity and foster a cohesive work culture.
Material Selection and Specification
  • Curate and specify materials that align with the envisioned aesthetic while meeting functional criteria.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and sustainability standards by integrating eco-conscious choices.
Budget Management
  • Create project budgets and timelines to deliver cost-effective design solutions.
  • Sources and procure materials within established parameters.
Project Documentation
  • Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction and permitting purposes.
Team Leadership
  • Build and nurture a high-performing team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.
Quality Control
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to gather essential information about existing spaces and conditions.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture/Interior Design or a related field.
  • Experience in leading client pitches.
  • Minimum 7-12 years of experience working on Workplace design projects & managing a team.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Sketchup, Revit, and Photoshop.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
