Job Overview:

Technical Operations Leadership

We are seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to lead our day-to-day technical operations, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vessels.

  1. Vessel Seaworthiness: Oversee all aspects of vessel maintenance, repairs, and technical projects, including upgrades and major maintenance, to guarantee seaworthiness and compliance with relevant regulations.
  2. Performance Analysis: Analyze performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to optimize vessel efficiency and reduce costs.
  3. Cost Management: Prepare and manage annual operating expenses (OPEX) budgets, controlling costs associated with fuel, lubricants, consumables, and other essential services.
  4. Certification and Compliance: Maintain valid certifications, documentation, and compliance with classification societies and Flag authorities, ensuring seamless interactions with regulatory bodies.
  5. Procurement and Inventory: Coordinate procurement of spares and critical equipment, leveraging cost-effective options to maximize value.
  6. Tech Project Coordination: Plan, supervise, and execute dry-docking, repairs, and technical projects, driving innovation and improvement in our technical operations.
  7. Crew Training and Development: Provide technical guidance and training to onboard crew, conducting periodic physical inspections, and investigating incidents to ensure a culture of safety and excellence.
  8. Regulatory Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of TMSA and Rightship requirements, implementing best practices to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement.
