Event Operations Leader: Driving Excellence in MICE

 

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a unique blend of leadership acumen, operational expertise, and industry knowledge. As the Event Operations Leader, you will oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive event strategies, aligning with business objectives and client requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to manage logistics, vendor coordination, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, venues, and service providers to secure competitive rates and high-quality services.
  • Conduct site inspections, assess venues, and ensure all event requirements are met, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational efficiency, implementing process improvements and driving cost optimization.
  • Prepare detailed reports and MIS for senior management and clients, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years in event operations or related roles, with 3+ years in MICE operations leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of the MICE industry, event management best practices, and vendor management.
  • Proven leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, event management software, and reporting tools.
