As a strategic leader in our organization, you will have the opportunity to shape and strengthen our financial governance framework.

Our ideal candidate will define the finance charter, validate financial targets, set up budgetary controls, and controllership functions for our India and US entities. You will be responsible for external and internal reporting of financial information, including month-end close process and annual audits.

You will manage monthly close processes, audits, and procurement processes, as well as have strong familiarity with US GAAP/ IFRS based financial standards, especially service revenue recognition.

The successful candidate will also manage treasury, payment gateway, and banking relationships, and have expertise with financial models, AOP, and the ability to model complex business scenarios.

  • Familiarity with US and India taxes to ensure compliance and filings – 1099, Use and Sales tax etc., and work with year-end CPAs for filing returns.
  • Secretarial and legal contracts – basic familiarity of timelines and laws, work with CS firms.

The ideal candidate will have a Chartered Accountant certification and 6+ years of overall experience, with 4 years in finance controllership/tax function.

  • Strong Excel modeling skills are a must.
  • Hands-on expertise on ERP systems, process implementation, and familiarity with technical accounting standards, i.e., GAAP/ IFRS, etc.
  • Clear understanding of financial planning, financial management, budgeting, forecasting, compliances, business growth strategy, etc.
  • Maturity to influence key stakeholders and work under pressure while ensuring quality output.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to express complex and abstract ideas in a concise manner.
