Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Manager – Accounts to oversee our India operations and contribute to other geographies. This role entails managing all accounting activities, ensuring statutory compliance, coordinating audits, financial reporting, and achieving business objectives.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks including ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations. They must ensure adherence to Indian tax regulations including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.

This position requires establishing robust checks and controls within each task to ensure accuracy. The successful candidate will manage internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness. Review and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

The job involves developing and implementing internal controls, financial policies, and procedures. The selected candidate will work closely with business heads to provide financial insights and strategic support. Liaise with banks, auditors, and government authorities for financial and statutory matters.

Responsibilities also include supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities. A CA/CMA/MBA or equivalent qualification is mandatory. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.

A strong knowledge of GAAP, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements is essential. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Zoho, Tally) and advanced Excel skills are required. Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills are necessary.

Preferred Qualifications include experience in a service industry. Exposure to international accounting standards or global financial operations is an added advantage.
