Job Title

A dynamic leader is required to spearhead our internal audit strategy and risk management framework.

As General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of a risk-based annual internal audit plan, ensuring alignment with business priorities and assessing the overall business risk environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an effective internal audit strategy that aligns with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Support the identification and finalization of vendors for program activities, ensuring timely execution as per plan.
  • Lead the execution of internal audits (in-house or outsourced) as approved by the audit committee, reporting progress to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track open internal audit observations, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Risk Management function to identify and assess entity and functional level risks, informing internal audit planning and execution.
Requirements

Education and Experience:

Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is essential. Desired qualifications include CIA, CISA, or CWA certifications.

10-15 years of experience in implementing, delivering, and embedding risk management at both strategic and operational levels is required. Proven experience in undertaking audits across diverse areas of the organization is also essential.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interfacing and influencing all levels of management.

Knowledge and Skills

Strong knowledge and skills in corporate governance, internal audit, and risk management domains are required.
