Lead Cybersecurity Operations and Incident Response

As a leader in cybersecurity operations and incident response, you will oversee daily security monitoring and investigation tasks. This role involves managing both local and remote team members to ensure seamless collaboration and effective response to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review proposed changes to rules or policies for firewalls, router access control lists, IPS, and proxies to maintain optimal network security.
  • Perform regular audits of deployed rulesets to identify any drift from baseline configurations.
  • Monitor networks in real-time to detect potential cybersecurity threats.
  • Analyze alerts and coordinate responses with senior analysts to resolve incidents efficiently.
  • Triage potential security incidents according to established procedures.
  • Identify and correct knowledge gaps and document materials to enhance team performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Routing, HTTP, DNS, and SMTP.
  • Proficiency in network security technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS solutions, monitoring systems, switch/router ACLs, and access control solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and other security technologies is essential.
  • Understanding of Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems and shell/bash/python programming skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting technical information.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience working with enterprise network solutions.
  • CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, or Network+ certification is required.
