Job Title: Strategic Financial Leader

This is a senior leadership role that requires high-level expertise in financial planning, compliance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, driving business growth, and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting for client portfolios by analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and mitigating risks.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to align financial strategies with business goals, fostering collaborative relationships and driving results-oriented decision-making.
  • Provide actionable insights on revenue growth, profitability, and cost optimization, leveraging data analysis and financial modeling to inform strategic decisions.
  • Ensure full compliance with international accounting standards and regulatory frameworks, overseeing audits, statutory filings, tax planning, and reporting accuracy.
  • Oversee treasury management, cash flow forecasting, and investment analysis, managing accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and working capital effectively.
  • Drive adoption of finance technology tools, implement automation initiatives to streamline financial reporting and compliance, and leverage analytics to provide real-time dashboards and performance tracking.
  • Mentor and lead a distributed finance team across regions, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Build scalable finance processes to support future business growth, collaborating with the leadership team, investors, and external auditors.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, presenting financial performance updates to the board and building relationships across departments to support operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must hold a Chartered Accountant (CA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 7–10 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in Fintech, Financial Services, or Consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of international accounting practices, GAAP/IFRS compliance, and taxation, with hands-on expertise with Xero, Dext, Power BI, or similar financial tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities, with the ability to thrive in a remote-first, global environment.
