Job Description

As the director, you will be responsible for ensuring quality legal education, fostering research excellence, building industry connections, and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration.

Main Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement the institution's strategic vision aligned with its overall mission.
    • Promote an inclusive, dynamic, and forward-thinking academic environment.
  • Academic Excellence:
    • Oversee curricula design, development, and review to ensure relevance and rigor in legal education.
    • Foster innovative learning environments leveraging technology and pedagogy.
    • Promote a culture of academic excellence through faculty development and student engagement.
  • Research and Development:
    • Encourage impactful legal research among faculty.
    • Build partnerships for research collaboration with industry, government, and international institutions.
    • Secure grants and funding for research activities.
  • Administration and Operations:
    • Supervise day-to-day operations ensuring efficient resource management and adherence to academic policies.
    • Lead faculty and administrative staff recruitment, mentoring, and evaluation.
  • Industry and Community Engagement:
    • Establish strong ties with legal professionals, law firms, and judiciary.
    • Foster internships, placements, and career development opportunities for students.
  • Student Success and Welfare:
    • Promote student-centric policies and foster an engaging academic environment.
    • Ensure support systems are in place for academic advising, mentoring, and career counselling.
  • Governance and Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Bar Council of India standards.
    • Represent the institution in university committees and external forums.
