Academic Leadership Role

Job Title: Vice Principal

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled academic leader to join our institution as Vice Principal. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving academic excellence and fostering innovation within the Faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance to Heads of Departments and teachers on designing timetables that optimize infrastructure and human resources effectively.
  • Oversee the timely preparation and distribution of essential information among students at the commencement of each semester/term.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for the institution to ensure timely completion of the enrollment generation process for newly admitted students.
  • Ensure that institutional data related to teaching and learning, staff, examinations, academic programs, and circulars/notices for students is regularly updated on the university website and Management Information System (MIS).
  • Conduct regular meetings with teaching and non-teaching staff to understand challenges related to teaching and learning processes and examinations, and explore solutions in consultation with the Principal.
  • Hold periodic meetings with students to gather feedback on teaching-learning processes and conduct of examinations, and explore avenues for continuous updation/enhancement in the same in consultation with the Principal.
  • Assist the Principal and Dean of the respective faculty in preparing for scheduled visits of expert committees for institute inspections.
  • Organize training programs, workshops, seminars, and symposiums in collaboration with the Principal and Centre for Human Resource Development.
  • Collaborate with the Admissions Cell to organize career awareness seminars in various regions to promote the institution's programs among prospective students.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Ph.D. degree
  • Professor/Associate Professor with total service/experience of fifteen years of teaching/research/administration in Universities, Colleges, and other institutions of higher education.
