Academic Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary Academic Leader to shape the future of our School of Governance.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive academic excellence and research innovation.

  • Oversee Academic Programmes: Prepare Strategic Plans for operational and financial growth, Continuously evaluate vision and mission, and align institutional processes.
  • Design high-quality curriculum that meets governance needs with a global perspective, comparable to the best in the country.
  • Lead Social Initiatives, including NLC, Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad, National Teachers Congress, and provide necessary inputs and support.
  • Plan manpower needs, recruit high-calibre faculty, and ensure effective delivery of teaching, research, and consultancy activities.
  • Focus on continuous Faculty Development Programs to ensure faculty members are updated with latest developments in their areas of specialization.
  • Engage with society to understand its changing needs and incorporate them into curriculum development, Alumni engagement, and participation in university activities.
  • Track local, regional, and national legislative and policy issues, develop strategies, and keep stakeholders informed.

Key Qualifications:

  • PhD in Political Science/Public Policy/Law.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Academic Leadership.
  • A proven record of delivering change and engaging others in a vision and direction.

The ideal candidate will possess strong emotional intelligence, resilience, and a 'can-do' attitude, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage complex projects involving multiple teams.
