Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned structural engineer to lead our team in delivering high-quality projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and technical expertise in structural design and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of junior engineers, coordinating with consultants and peers.
  • Provide strategic direction, technical guidance, and performance reviews for the team.
  • Project Delivery:
  • Manage projects from concept to completion, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure timely delivery of designs, plans, and documents within quality and cost parameters.
  • Conduct technical reviews, quality assurance checks, and risk assessments for ongoing projects.
  • Structural Design & Analysis:
  • Lead and review the development of structural design for buildings, retaining walls, and other structures.
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering calculations, load assessments, and finite element analysis using software tools.
  • Validate design assumptions and methodologies against applicable international and local standards.
  • Optimize structural systems and material.
  • Client Engagement:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders on structural matters.
  • Participate in design charrettes, pre-construction meetings, and construction progress meetings.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and recommendations to senior management through consultants.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience with software tools such as ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, RCDC.
  • Certification in LEED AP or other relevant certifications.
