Job Role: Employee Relations Associate

Location: Nagpur, India

Experience Level: 0-5 years

This position is part of the Employee Relations team at a leading organization.

The primary responsibilities include Employee Engagement, Culture & Values, creating a positive work environment, and Employee care programs. This includes Health & wellness interventions and Emotional support mechanisms such as counseling.

The role also involves Conflict resolution, Workplace grievance handling, Disciplinary investigations, and Employee feedback mechanisms.

A front-facing profile, this role requires interaction with local authorities on an as-needed basis. Knowledge of the local language is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve any employee relations issue at the location to achieve agreements and settle conflicts and minimize disputes.
  • Maintain Organization Culture and values, implement policy and procedures, act as an internal consultant/advisor, provide a positive work environment, employee assimilation, and ensure timely emergency response within company guidelines.
  • Lead the implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Establish lines of control and delegate responsibilities.
  • Partner with Business and external bodies to achieve company objectives.
  • Employee assimilation and New Hire compliance.

Requirements:

  • Candidates with a full-time MBA from a reputable institution.
  • A proven track record of handling complex issues.
  • Ability to develop and build relationships at all levels, with a proven track record of acting in an advisory capacity.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, empathetic, and strong negotiation/diplomacy skills.
  • Strong analytical and facilitating skills.
  • Creative bent of mind, delivering pragmatic solutions.
  • Flexibility and ability to multi-task.
