Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve company growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and initiatives to support business development efforts.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
- Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, pipeline status, and results to senior management.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote the company's offerings.
- Work closely with the product development and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience in the IT industry/ERP.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies.
- Familiarity with contract negotiations and legal aspects of business deals.
