Procurement Leader for External Manufacturing

Lead and oversee the External Manufacturing team in the APAC region, guiding them to develop and execute a procurement strategy that aligns with corporate objectives. Spearhead the standardization and deployment of a global external manufacturing framework across regions, prioritizing total cost of ownership, speed to market on innovation, and supply resiliency.
This role requires proactively mitigating risks while championing continuous improvement endeavors aimed at bolstering the efficiency and scalability of the external manufacturing framework globally. Foster innovation and operational excellence across regions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the External Manufacturing team in APAC/P&L accountability and team management.
- Maintain a reliable source of supply for category and coordinate with procurement category leaders to ensure sustained competitive advantage.
- Standardize and implement the global external manufacturing framework.
- Develop and coach direct reports.
- Support Innovation goals for the Asian region.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in Supply Chain including 5+ years of External/ Contract Manufacturing experience.
- Proven experience in procurement/ Supply Chain leadership roles, team management, and P&L ownership with a strong track record of driving strategic initiatives in a multinational environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in category management, supplier relationship management, and sustainable sourcing practices.
- Experience working in the Asia-Pacific region(multi-country), with a deep understanding of regional market dynamics and cultural nuances.
- Ability to operate in diverse environments, including intercultural settings.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive informed decision-making.
- Proficiency in English.
$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
