Genpact seeks a finance professional to drive business growth and profitability by providing strategic financial insights and analysis.

As a Management Trainee, you will play a critical role in reconciling indirect taxation, handling accounting as per US GAAP, and preparing monthly and annual sales and use tax returns. You will also be responsible for prepayments as per state-wise applicability, journal entries, and other month-end close activities.

Key responsibilities include regular client interaction, meeting expectations as per agreed SLA's, preparing and reviewing indirect tax filing calendars, coordinating with various departments, onshore teams, and auditors, and monitoring changes in tax legislation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualifications: CA/CPA/MBA/M.com
  • Significant experience (Min 6 years) US tax reporting, tax compliance & filing of tax returns
  • Working knowledge of US Indirect tax laws
  • Strong command over Excel

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • US Indirect tax experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP & Blackline is an added advantage
