Job Description

As a Financial Risk Professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's financial stability and security.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats to the company's financial well-being.
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments to identify areas of vulnerability and developing plans to address them.
  • Monitoring and controlling regulatory limits and risk appetite framework (RAF) limits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Preparing risk opinions on business cases, investment instruments, capital infusion plans, and intra-group transactions.
  • Calculating and reviewing liquidity ratios on a periodic basis to ensure the company's ability to meet its financial obligations.
  • Analyzing changes in solvency ratio based on input from finance and actuary teams to ensure adherence to regulatory limits and RAF.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in insurance or financial services, with knowledge of risk management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
