Expert Financial Risk Manager

Job Overview:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of financial processes to identify potential risks and assess their impact on stakeholders.
- Develop strategic initiatives to minimize risk while maximizing potential rewards, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with the risk management team to implement robust Internal Financial Controls (IFC).
- Analyze financial data to conduct stress testing and monitor actual trends, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.
- Evaluate and establish system-based controls using risk matrix evaluation to mitigate potential threats.
- Monitor solvency and capital adequacy levels to ensure financial stability and compliance.
- Perform credit risk assessments of vendors and suppliers, taking into account their financial health and capacity.
- Collect and analyze relevant data to inform financial risk evaluation, leveraging industry knowledge and best practices.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 57 years of experience in financial risk management, with a proven track record of success.
- Industry knowledge and exposure to risk profiling are highly preferred, but not mandatory.
Required Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Postgraduate degree in Risk Assessment, with strong theoretical foundations and practical expertise.
