Job Title: Ignition SCADA Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and configure secure, efficient Ignition SCADA applications for manufacturing operations, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise IT systems and databases.
  • Develop and maintain data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols, promoting secure data sharing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs, fostering innovation.
  • Provide technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives, including Industry 4.0 and predictive analytics, driving growth.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across the engineering team, building expertise.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise with Ignition SCADA, Inductive Automation, and scripting module configuration and project deployment, ensuring best practices.
  • Strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, traceability, SPC, and quality control.
  • Proficiency with database technologies SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent, managing large datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with OT/IT integration technologies, REST APIs, MQTT, OPC UA, and industrial control systems, ensuring interoperability.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, facilitating teamwork.
  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms, Azure IoT, AWS IoT, etc., leveraging scalability.
  • Certifications: Ignition Gold, Certified Specialist OPC UA, or relevant industrial IT/OT certifications, demonstrating expertise.
