Platform and Infrastructure Lead

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our network and cloud infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT service management and a proven track record of developing high-performing teams.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive operational excellence by maturing processes for efficiency, reliability, and scalability. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of network and cloud administrators, fostering technical growth and career development.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across engineering and operations.
  • Define and communicate clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations aligned with organizational goals.
  • Drive operational excellence by maturing processes for efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and integration across platforms.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in network and cloud infrastructure support, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Knowledge of managing patching of infrastructure (network and servers)
  • Knowledge of business and technology processes.
  • Proven track record of escalation management experience.
  • Strong understanding of ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and operational best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General Experience of Cloud technologies (eg Azure, VMWare, AWS, Windows, Linux) and Network Technology (eg Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Aruba ClearPass).
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure monitoring systems (e.g. Logic Monitor & Solar Winds).
