Long-term Disability Claims Analyst

This is a highly specialized role that requires an individual to manage and process claims related to short-term disability.
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, and possess strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process short-term disability claims in a timely and efficient manner.
- Analyze and investigate claims to determine their validity and legitimacy.
- Communicate with claimants, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to gather information and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all claims and communications.
- Escalate complex or disputed claims to senior management for resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
