Job Title

Strategic Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the growth of oil additives business in key markets by leveraging existing relationships and expanding into new customer segments.
  • Foster collaborative working relationships with customers at all levels, identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, and develop effective solutions to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform strategic decision-making and drive business success.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue potential, optimize resource allocation, and enhance overall business performance.
  • Cultivate partnerships with key stakeholders across various departments to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market research, including competitor analysis, product placement assessments, and local price level evaluations to inform business decisions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements.
  • Participate in external events, such as trade shows and customer forums, to maintain a strong presence in the industry and build valuable connections.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, track key performance indicators, and address any emerging issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the collection of receivables and manage sales and technical resources effectively to drive business outcomes.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, preferably with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven knowledge of lubricants and their applications is highly desirable.
