Expert AS/400 Technical Support Specialist

Job Description:The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of COBOL, RPG III, RPGILE, SQLILE, and CLLE programming languages. They will be responsible for providing level 2 and 3 support for IBM AS/400 systems, including code walkthroughs of complex modules.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide in-depth technical assistance for AS/400 system users.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of business processes and functions supported by the AS400 application.
- Familiarize yourself with system architecture diagrams, interface mechanisms, and upstream/downstream system interactions.
- Document various AS400 environments, OS levels, and database versions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system operations.
- Minimum 6-9 years of experience in AS/400 administration and support.
- Strong understanding of COBOL, RPG III, RPGILE, SQLILE, and CLLE programming languages.
