Compensation Strategist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Compensation Strategist to join our Human Resources team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our compensation offerings are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a strategic advisor to business stakeholders across the organization by providing guidance on compensation programs and career development initiatives.
  • Design and implement comprehensive global compensation structures that align with the company's compensation philosophy and business objectives through job architecture and internal rewards programs.
  • Conduct external market pricing benchmarking to ensure we remain competitive in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and administer short-term and long-term incentive programs that drive performance and retention.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing programs and recommend improvements.
  • Administer compensation planning processes, including merit, bonus, and promotion actions, by setting up and testing tools.
  • Consult with business stakeholders on individual decision-making and operational processes for employee communication and payroll processing.
  • Educate and train managers and HR colleagues on job architecture, compensation philosophies, practices, and tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in a compensation, finance, or business analytics-related role.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in HRIS and data analysis tools.
  • Strong global compensation and sales compensation experiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build effective relationships.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align compensation strategy with business objectives.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) status is a plus.
