Senior Technical Lead - Insurance Technology Projects

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Lead to lead our insurance technology projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in system development and implementation in the insurance industry, as well as strong technical leadership skills.

  • Technical Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, leading technical teams with a strong software engineering background
  • 10+ years of industry experience in system development and implementation in the insurance industry
  • 7+ years of experience in insurance technology projects/programs
  • 7+ years of experience with the Duck Creek Policy Platform
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering, designing, and implementing large, complex system/application architectures
  • 5+ years of experience in performance engineering and optimization of distributed systems in API-based architectures
  • 5+ years of experience leading systems integration projects with multiple internal and external interfaces
  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience with technology stacks such as: Microsoft .NET, Java, ASP.NET, IIS, Kafka, SQL Server, XML, XPATH, JSON, CSS, XSLT, etc.
  • Desirable Skills:
  • Proficient with message bus technologies (e.g., Kafka preferred, or MQ, Amazon SQS, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of cloud design patterns and common security patterns (preferably Microsoft Azure)
  • Familiarity with Data & Analytics technologies: Data Lakes, Business Intelligence Tools, Predictive Models, and 3rd Party Data integration
  • Good knowledge of Microservices, API Management, JavaScript Frameworks (e.g., Angular), and Cloud Platforms (especially Azure)
  • Working knowledge of AGILE methodology
  • Soft Skills:
  • Superior communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with both business and IT stakeholders at all levels
