Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Java Technical Lead to lead our high-performing Java development team. As a key member of our technical leadership, you will be responsible for guiding the team through the full software development lifecycle.

About the Role:

  • Lead and manage a team of experienced Java developers to design, develop, and deploy scalable and maintainable Java applications and microservices.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and career development support to team members to ensure their growth and success.
  • Drive agile practices such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely and quality delivery of features and fixes.
  • Oversee technical architecture and design, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and software quality assurance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across development and production environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and UI/UX to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in Java development, with at least 1–2 years in a team leadership or senior developer role.
  • Strong knowledge of Java SE/EE, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), Hibernate/JPA.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and CI/CD practices.
  • Proficiency in version control tools (e.g., Git), build tools (Maven/Gradle), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a technical team.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus.
  • Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Certifications in Java or cloud technologies are an advantage.
