Job Overview

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to our internal and external stakeholders. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting software issues, collaborating with the development department, and ensuring timely resolutions for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to internal and external users through various communication channels.
  • Communicate and coordinate feedback and inputs to the development team.
  • Assist the QA lead with quality assurance activities.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with minimal support from the development team.
  • Interact with customers to quickly identify and resolve their problems.
  • Propose workarounds to customers when fixes will take time to be released.
  • Provide timely and accurate customer feedback.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure problems are resolved.
  • Support the roll-out of new applications and services.
  • Develop procedural documentation for support processes.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Evaluate and test new releases.
  • Contribute to process improvements by proposing innovative solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
  • Availability to work during US hours (9 am to 6 pm central time).
  • Experience in tech support for web-based business applications with mobile interfaces.
  • Working knowledge of Linux, Java, JavaScript (React), MySQL, AWS.
  • Proficiency in browser-based debugging, JSON format, REST APIs, database queries, and logs.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Knowledge of ticket management tools like Clickup, Jira, Trello.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Linux, Java, Web development, AWS.
  • Experience with AI-powered tools for day-to-day tasks.
  • Development mindset to scale into a developer role with minimal training.
