About this role
">- We are seeking a results-driven Modern Trade Sales Manager to lead our business planning in the modern trade segment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing business plans to drive sales growth, managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the modern trade landscape, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in business planning and analysis.
">Key Responsibilities">- Strategic Planning & Market Development:
- Develop and execute business plans to drive sales growth in the modern trade segment.
- Map opportunity markets and identify relevant tea category products through data mining.
- Drive short-term and long-term market penetration strategies.
- Sales & Channel Management:
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines to achieve sales targets.
- Develop and manage relationships with modern trade clients, vendors, and business partners.
- Negotiate contracts with new vendors and clients as well as terminate contracts when necessary.
- Relationship & Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and manage relationships with agencies and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinating with internal departments to ensure that all domestic business operations run smoothly.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare financial reports detailing sales performance, ROI, and profit margins.
- Analyze market trends and customer data to inform business decisions.
- Cross-functional Coordinations:
- Managing the supply chain process from procurement to shipment to customer delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in modern trade sales preferably in tea or food segments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business planning and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and ability to manage team, promoter, merchandiser.
