Emerging Markets Strategy Lead Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Emerging Markets Strategy Lead Analyst. As a global leader in knowledge processes, research, and analytics, you will work with a specialized team that focuses on global market research, collaborating with top-rated investment research organizations, bulge bracket investment banks, and leading asset managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the head of the team to develop and maintain financial models and analytical frameworks for emerging markets fixed income products.
  • Conduct macroeconomic and market research across emerging markets, analyzing large datasets to identify market trends and investment opportunities.
  • Support the team in producing high-quality research reports and market commentary, collaborating with trading, sales, and risk teams to align strategy insights with business needs.
  • Utilize tools such as Bloomberg, Macrobond, and Haver databases for data extraction and analysis.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in economics, statistics, or engineering with minimum relevant experience of 3 years. Progress towards CFA/FRM is desirable.
  • Prior experience in macro research, financial modeling, structuring, trading, or market risk management.
  • Strong quantitative and mathematical skills, with experience working with large amounts of data.
  • Advanced Excel, VBA analytical skills, and knowledge of basic econometrics are essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to write research reports and comment on market developments.
