Job Overview

A dynamic Onboarding Specialist is required to coordinate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires. This role encompasses the entire onboarding process, from initial contact to establishing start dates and scheduling orientation sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for new hires during the onboarding phase, providing guidance and support throughout the process
  • Coordinate all aspects of onboarding, including pre-boarding, first-day logistics and orientation
  • Select appropriate background check packages based on job requirements
  • Order necessary drug tests based on job requirements
  • Schedule start dates and select relevant onboarding events
  • Update candidate profiles in HR systems
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and business units to ensure a smooth onboarding experience

To succeed in this role, you will require 2-7 years of experience in onboarding, preferably with HRIS systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills and a customer service-oriented attitude are essential.

This role requires strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. A keen eye for detail is also crucial to ensure accuracy and compliance.
