Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure using Terraform, automating configuration management with Ansible, and monitoring performance with DataDog.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud principles and services, experience with Terraform Cloud or similar tools, and familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible.

The role requires excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Cloud Principles and Services: A good understanding of cloud computing principles and services, with experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure.
  • Terraform Experience: Experience with Terraform Cloud or similar tools to define and manage infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Configuration Management: Familiarity with using Ansible or other CM tools for configuration management and automation.
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Experience with DataDog or other visibility platforms to effectively monitor and optimize system performance.
  • Scripting Languages: A solid foundation in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Collaboration: A collaborative mindset and effective communication skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
