Senior Cloud Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to lead our cloud infrastructure strategy. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud systems on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Design: Develop and implement efficient, secure, and highly available cloud architectures using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Redshift, ECS, Route 53, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, Cost Explorer, and others.
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain existing cloud infrastructure, including setting up new environments based on specific business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures to protect data and applications, including configuring AWS IAM roles, policies, and user groups.
  • DevOps and CI/CD: Collaborate with the DevOps team to design and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Bitbucket/GitHub.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor and analyze cloud performance using tools like New Relic, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and others, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and resource improvement.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on AWS.
  • Skillset: Proficiency in AWS services, Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, Kubernetes, and other relevant technologies.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
