Cloud Transformation Specialist

Are you a seasoned IT professional looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience in transforming on-premises workloads to public cloud solutions? We're seeking a highly skilled Cloud Transformation Specialist to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead transformation projects, migrating on-premises workloads to public cloud solutions.
  • Expertise in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code (IaC) management.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins for pipeline management.
  • GITOPS driven configuration management and deployment.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent degree.
  • Red Hat Certified Architect or equivalent certification, Azure Cloud Architect, AWS Cloud Architect, OCI Cloud Implementation.
  • At least 3 years of experience at a relevant technical position in large organizations.

Desirable Skills:
  • Must be an expert in comparing services across public clouds.
  • Understanding of cloud adoption models for major cloud services CPU architectures, storage, and network connectivity.
  • Knowledge of Windows internals.
  • Depth knowledge in public cloud technologies.
  • API communications (REST/Soap), developing a new consumer/publisher for any API.
  • Conceptual understanding of infrastructure and how it works.
  • DNS (Authoritative and Non-Authoritative DNS, Dynamic and bind DNS, Forwarder).
  • SSL Communication (Handshake of SSL traffic, Cipher Suites, Enc Algorithms).
  • Active Directory (Security OUs, policies).
  • Certificates (SAN, client-authentication, keystores, mutual SSL).
  • Load balancers / Site Selectors / Firewall.
  • Vault Tools (CyberArk / Hashicorp).
  • High Availability.
  • Excellent hands-on experience in configuration management, orchestration, and IaC tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform).
  • Excellent scripting skills in Groovy, Bash/PowerShell, Python.
  • Understanding of principles of cloud connectivity, SDWAN, private connectivity.
  • Strong understanding of Repository and Artifact management Tools (Red Hat Satellite, Spacewalk, Nexus).
  • Strong understanding of Container Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Strong understanding of ELK and its beats (Audit beat, File Beat).
  • Strong understanding of OS Compliance Policies (CIS Benchmark).
  • Agile methodologies and its ceremonies.
  • Strategic Thinking with Research and Development mindset.
  • Adequate understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
