Job Title: Business Credit Strategy Manager

As a key member of our business credit strategy team, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and profitability through effective portfolio management. Your expertise in corporate finance, underwriting, and risk assessment will enable you to identify opportunities for value creation and implement strategies that align with the organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Underwrite corporate finance business and manage the portfolio in assigned areas
  • Support business teams to manage end-to-end credit approval processes for designated regions
  • Authorise deviations raised by underwriters while ensuring compliance with credit policy
  • Finalise review of credit memos prepared by underwriters and approve or decline sign-offs on every file after checking documentation requirements
  • Approve disbursement requests based on adherence to requirements on agreement value and full documentation attainment at the branch level
  • Monitor PDD management and ensure timely completion of personal discussion documents through customer visits in high-value cases
  • Oversee follow-ups with external vendors to ensure timely query resolution/report submission and eliminate undue/non-process related delays
  • Coordinate with recoveries teams and generate business insights
  • Lead a team of credit approvers to ensure portfolio quality and delinquencies
  • Develop, implement, review, and monitor credit programs, provide training and coaching to upgrade team competency, and improve processing efficiency
  • Ensure due diligence in credit analysis, customer application screening, evaluation, underwriting, and sanctioning of loans
  • Evolve underwriting norms customized to local market needs and ensure continued enhancement and execution of consumer credit risk strategy

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in MBA/PGDBA/PGPM/CA or equivalent
