Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager of Finance and Accounts.

About the Role:

  • As the Assistant Manager of Finance and Accounts, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger postings, reconciliations (bank, vendor, intercompany), and fixed assets accounting.
  • You will also support monthly and annual closing processes by preparing schedules, reports, and accurate financial data.
  • Additionally, you will assist in statutory and internal audits by providing required documentation and resolving audit queries.
  • You must ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable tax requirements.
  • Your role will involve preparing MIS reports and assisting in variance analysis as directed by the Manager.
  • You will maintain documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
  • Lastly, you will coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for smooth financial operations.

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess a strong foundational knowledge in accounting principles and journal entries.
  • A good working knowledge of Income Tax, TDS, and GST is essential.
  • Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) is mandatory.
  • Candidates should possess good analytical and numerical skills.
  • They must be detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Able to work independently on routine tasks and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Strong team collaboration and communication skills are necessary.
  • The ability to manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines is crucial.
  • Ethical conduct and data confidentiality are expected.
