Job Summary:

This position involves leveraging domain expertise to detail product requirements and work closely with various teams to ensure technical requirements are thoroughly elaborated.

Key Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, engineers, and testing teams, analyzing business requirements, designing information systems solutions, and driving system implementation projects.

As a skilled Business Analyst, you will collaborate with Product Owners, System Architects, and other team members to manage business analysis activities, capture customer voice, define business processes, and prioritize release scopes.

The successful candidate will have experience with Agile software development methodologies, business systems analysis, SQL, data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization solutions.

  • Business Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, identify system enhancements, and drive system implementation projects.
  • Product Requirements: Define business processes and product needs by capturing the voice of the customer and working closely with stakeholders.
  • System Implementation: Drive system implementation projects, ensuring alignment with engineering and product goals.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in Computer Science/Information Systems with Agile Software Development methodologies OR 6-8 years of experience in Computer Science/Information Systems with Agile Software Development methodologies OR Diploma with years of experience in Computer Science/Information Systems with Agile Software Development methodologies
  • Experience with business systems analysis, writing user requirements and acceptance criteria in agile project management systems such as JIRA
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
  • Hands-on experience writing SQL using any RDBMS (Redshift, Postgres, MySQL, Teradata, Oracle, etc.)
  • Experience with data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization solutions such as Power BI, Spotfire and Tableau
