Job Title: Smartstream IDLM Support Analyst

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technical support professional to provide expert-level assistance for our Cash Management System (CMS).

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer in-depth technical support for the Smartstream CMS application, including its releases and infrastructure.
  • Deliver technical support and configuration services across both banking and securities divisions under a dual-hat arrangement.
  • Provide coverage during UK working hours and participate in overnight support rotations, as well as weekend work when necessary.
  • Document technical requirements or processes to capture the configuration being performed.
  • Support and test technical systems/servers, collaborate with third-party software providers, and escalate any identified software defects.
  • Ensure that solutions incorporate industry best practices and apply your expertise accordingly.
  • Work closely with neighboring technology and project teams to ensure seamless coordination of changes.
  • Offer post-live support and assist with remediation efforts as required.
  • Monitor and track defects, ensuring the appropriate team is assigned any defects discovered during testing phases.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with the Smartstream Cash management (CMS) version 4 application, including Control process Designer, Smart Schema, and Smartstream Recs.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with various teams, including Unix, database, and application teams.
  • Familiarity with Change Requests, attending CAB meetings, and representing on weekend rollout of code changes.
  • In-depth knowledge of Control M application, covering job creation, administration, alerting, file move, file watchers, and JSON.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle 19 SQL scripting and Oracle database concepts.
  • Proficiency in Linux shell scripting and support.
  • Able to package up and manage configuration/code changes into releases and apply them to production.
  • Expertise in Jboss 8 server knowledge, configuration, and support, error log analysis, and WAR file deployment.
  • Understanding of JMS Queue processing and principles.
  • Familiarity with Github software management and automated deployment via CI/CD pipeline.
