Senior Business Development Manager

Escalader Strategic Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Business Development Manager with extensive experience in the furniture and building materials industry. Located in South Mumbai, this role offers a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per annum.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with premium clients, identifying opportunities for business growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. They will analyze the company's communication strategy, negotiations, and contracts to identify trends that can improve organizational procedures and maintain a positive image in front of customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting in-depth market research and analysis to understand premium clients' needs, preferences, and trends in the industry.
- Identifying new potential sales opportunities by finding key personnel in client companies to establish profitable opportunities across all product categories.
- Educating and informing clients about the company's products, services, upgrades, and special offers.
- Networking with key clientele to improve the presence and reputation of the company.
- Generating new business and revenue opportunities through cross-selling and upselling.
- Gaining solid knowledge of competitor markets and providing reports on market movement and penetration.
Sales Management:
- Managing premium client accounts and acting as the main point of contact for the company.
- Developing forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans to achieve set sales revenue goals and targets.
- Developing account strategies and customized solutions to suit client needs for driving loyalty, satisfaction, and growth.
- Generating new enquiries from existing customers and negotiating solutions that are cost-effective for the company.
- Ensuring enquiry to order conversion and on-time dispatch by coordination with internal teams.
Candidates Requirements:
- Graduate in any discipline, with an MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales, client acquisition, and client servicing.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Expertise regarding the company's offerings and category trends.
- Ability to do market research and analyze information.
- Strong communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills to effectively build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent sales and negotiation abilities to identify opportunities and drive business growth.
