Our organization is seeking a strategic procurement leader to join our team as Head of Procurement. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies that align with our business goals, focusing on real estate projects, retail products, and related categories.
  2. Lead the entire procurement process, from vendor identification and selection to negotiation, contracting, and performance management.
  3. Establish effective procurement policies, processes, and systems to ensure efficient, transparent, and cost-effective sourcing.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to guarantee consistent supply, quality, and competitive pricing.
  5. Coordinate procurement planning with project teams, operations, design, and finance departments to ensure timely availability of materials and services.
  6. Monitor procurement budgets and analyze cost-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance with budgetary controls.
  7. Develop long-term sourcing strategies for key categories such as construction materials, interiors, furniture, fixtures, and retail-related inventories.
  8. Manage procurement risks by evaluating suppliers' financial health, delivery performance, and quality benchmarks.
  9. Implement technology-driven solutions, including ERP systems and dashboards, to enhance procurement efficiency.
  10. Ensure legal compliance in all supplier contracts and procurement activities.
  11. Regularly report procurement performance, cost savings, supplier scorecards, and procurement KPIs to top management.
  12. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. An MBA/PGDM is preferred.
  • Minimum 12+ years of procurement experience in the real estate industry only.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain systems, and contract laws.
