Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a proven track record of driving cost savings and process improvements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring all types of steel materials from OEMs and dealers, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers. They will also be responsible for forecasting product demand, analyzing market trends, and negotiating prices with suppliers.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned procurement professional to take on a leadership role and drive business growth through strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and procurement of all types of steel materials
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers
  • Forecasting product demand and analyzing market trends
  • Negotiating prices with suppliers
  • Managing working capital across PAN India Plants
  • Preparing analytics and reports as required by Management
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting compliance
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • 14+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management
  • Strong knowledge of steel manufacturing processes and vendor banks
  • Experience with importing and exporting goods
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience with SAP and other software tools
